Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Android tablet.

Samsung Galaxy Note is being stretched from 5.3 inches to 10.1 inches. Okay, of course it's a different device than the original Galaxy Note, which is an oversized smartphone that can be used as an Android notepad complete with S-Pen (pressure sensitive capacitive stylus). This new 10.1 version may be a little large to use as your default notepad that you carry everywhere inside your pocket, but nevertheless, we're sure this tablet, revealed at Mobile World Congress 2012, promises a great Android experience.

Google Play replaces Android Market.

Rumours concerning Google Play being the possible name of Google's future Nexus tablet have been put to bed. Four days ago, on Tuesday March 6th, Android Market ceased to exist as it became rebranded, to Google Play Store. The main intention for this dramatic and unexpected name change is to present a new Android store that unifies Android Market (Google's default appstore), Google Music and Google eBookstore, placing them on a white fluffy cloud in which you can store thousands of tunes.

Asus PadFone, Android phone/tablet.

Asus Padfone caused quite a sensation at Mobile World Congress 2012, and for good reason. Most Android fans will already be aware that Asus are the 'Oscar' winners where transforming is concerned. They've already brought Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Asus Eee Pad Slider and Asus Transformer Prime to consumers, two Android tablets that morph into netbooks by either docking onto a keyboard (Eee Pad Transformer), or by sliding out an integral keyboard (Eee Pad Slider), much like many smartphones. Asus PadFone, however, takes transforming to a whole new level.

Huawei Ascend D quad, Android phone

Huawei Ascend D quad is the second quad-core creation announced by Huawei at Mobile World Congress 2012. What makes this particular phone and its slightly more impressive sibling, Huawei Ascend D quad XL, stand out from the very crowded MWC crowd is the addition of Huawei's own K3V2 chipset, which according to Huawei, is speedier than the usual Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset we see in quad-core devices.
