LG Optimus TrueHD LTE P936, Android phone will be released across Europe and Asia.

It seems just lately that the UK is getting sidelined in terms of new Android phone availability. One of the main reasons for this is not unfair favouritism or anything else unsavoury, but rather the lack of 4G and LTE. LG Optimus TrueHD LTE P936 is one such phone that may just pass us by unless we get a move on!

Sony Xperia neo L, Android phone.

If you're an avid follower of Android you may be aware that Sony have added a new Xperia neo to their catalogue. You may have also noticed that it's unlikely to see the light of day in the UK, as it's stuck behind the Great Wall of China, probably for all eternity. So in the absence of Sony MT25i Xperia neo L, we took a look at just what we're missing out on.

Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G.

Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G is a new Samsung Galaxy phone that's just landed on American shores and is available exclusively through T-Mobile. Announced earlier in the year at CES, Galaxy S Blaze is apparently T-Mobile's version of Galaxy S2.

Huawei Ascend P1, Android phone.

You may remember, back in January, Huawei showcased its future phones at CES, Las Vegas. One of those handsets was Huawei Ascend P1, a slim and ultra stylish mid-range Android phone. The good news is that we haven't got long to wait here in the UK, before it's available. However, there's still no news of its even slimmer twin Huawei Ascend P1 S.

Orange Santa Clara, Android phone.

Orange have collaborated with Intel Medfield to bring you a phone codenamed Orange Santa Clara. Closer to its Summer launch a different moniker will be adopted. It was announced at Mobile World Congress 2012 alongside Lava Xolo X900, a second Intel Medfield Android phone that's destined to go on sale in India initially, with details of a worldwide release unclear at this moment.

Huawei Ascend D1, dual-core Android phone.

Huawei Ascend D1 is the third sibling in the D (Diamond) series to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2012. Huawei, although a name you may not be familiar with, is rising through the ranks as they have done their consumer based research and have addressed our wants and needs to the letter, and may therefore soon be up there with the likes of Samsung and HTC in the war for Android supremacy.

Sony Xperia U, Android phone.

Sony Xperia U was announced alongside its high end brother Sony Xperia P on 27th February, at Mobile World Congress (MWC). It joins Sony's NXT series of Android phones, their first without Ericsson, that consists of Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U. If you're not after all of Android technologies latest bells and whistles, but still want a decent smartphone that will more than satisfy your mobile needs, mid range Sony Xperia U will fit the bill nicely.

Panasonic Eluga is waterproof and dustproof.

It was back in December that we heard rumours of Panasonic phone-cameras that we could expect to see arriving sometime in 2012. Panasonic Eluga is the first of such Android phones that's booked its ticket to Europe sometime in Q1/Q2 2012. It was officially announced recently at the Panasonic Convention 2012 in Hamburg, Germany, and although missing the super camera we anticipated, we are still very excited.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.

Samsung have an ace up their sleeve, one that they've just announced on 20th February, ahead of Mobile World Congress 2012. Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is on its way folks, and it should be with us here in the UK around April. A second Samsung Galaxy Mini was also announced alongside Galaxy Ace 2, which is to be released in France initially by March, before being released globally.

Acer Iconia Tab A510, quad-core Android tablet.

There is rumour that Acer Iconia Tab A510, first showcased at CES and mentioned prior to that here at Heavenly Android, will be launching across Europe in time for the Easter holiday. It's a 10.1 inch quad-core beastie, and a less muscly brother to Acer Iconia Tab A700/A701, another two imminent Acer Android tablet releases set for 2012. We can't wait!
