Kyocera Urbano Progresso, speakerless Android phone.

We were intrigued by a smartphone discussed on the Gadget Show recently and thought that we'd bring it to the attention of those of you that didn't watch. Kyocera Urbano Progresso is the phone in question, and what makes it particularly interesting and unique is the distinct lack of any speakers.

LG Optimus 3D Max wont be coming to the UK.

Just lately we seem to be showcasing a whole host of Android phones that we've previously got excited over, especially as the juicy gossip emerged from CES and MWC earlier this year. It seems that our excitement regarding LG Optimus 3G Max was a smidgen premature, as further news concerning release dates have yet again left the UK out in the cold.

The real, official Samsung Galaxy S III.

So the months of wondering and speculation are officially over. It's time to take a bite of the brand new Samsung Galaxy S III, and boy is it tasty! In fact it's more than just tasty, it's a completely beautiful Android recipe.

Samsung Galaxy S3 countdown to announcement.

There's possibly as much anticipation surrounding Samsung's mythical Galaxy S3 Android smartphone as there is concerning Amazon's Kindle Fire here in the UK. In an age-old ploy, both giant companies have remained tight-lipped, causing both of these Android devices to enjoy countless rumours and innuendo, filling more web pages with if's and but's than most other Android-centric news put together.

Motorola Atrix 2, Android phone.

Motorola Atrix was supposed to be one of the most powerful Android phones available in 2011. Motorola went further than that and claimed that is was actually the world's most powerful Android smartphone and ran TV adverts saying exactly that. However, Trading Standards put a stop to Motorola's claims after complaints from furious Samsung owners. Nevertheless they soon got busy on Motorola Atrix 2, also known as Motorola Edison.

Motorola RAZR MAXX, Android phone.

Motorola have been quiet as hibernating mice so far this year, with very few hints as to what they are going to offer to consumers. Not one single new Android phone or tablet was showcased at Mobile World Congress, but now it comes to light that Motorola RAZR MAXX is on its way.

Acer Cloud storage.

Acer were proud to announce the upcoming arrival of their cloud based Android phone at MWC 2012, alongside its entry level sibling Acer Liquid Glow. Acer CloudMobile (formerly codenamed S500) will be the very first Android phone in the world to use Acer's very own cloud storage/processing service, which is similar to iCloud.

ZTE Era, quad-core Android phone.

Amongst eight new ZTE Android/Windows mobile devices announced at Mobile World Congress 2012, ZTE Era is the star of ZTE's Android smartphone show. ZTE's flagship device, it promises to be a little healthy competition for other big players this year. It also happens to be the Chinese OEM's most high end phone to date, and did I forget to say that it is dangerously sexy!

Is this the Samsung Galaxy S 3 Android phone?

One announcement that was expected at Mobile World Congress 2012 that never came to pass was Samsung Galaxy S 3. We have speculated since January, when Samsung teased its audience with hints at CEO, whether there is about to be a third Galaxy S. It seems that Samsung are closer than you would anticipate to a global release of this anticipated Android handset.

Asus PadFone, Android phone/tablet.

Asus Padfone caused quite a sensation at Mobile World Congress 2012, and for good reason. Most Android fans will already be aware that Asus are the 'Oscar' winners where transforming is concerned. They've already brought Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Asus Eee Pad Slider and Asus Transformer Prime to consumers, two Android tablets that morph into netbooks by either docking onto a keyboard (Eee Pad Transformer), or by sliding out an integral keyboard (Eee Pad Slider), much like many smartphones. Asus PadFone, however, takes transforming to a whole new level.
