News like this is very exciting and very 2012. As Tegra 3 and quad-core is slowly drip fed into Android's newest phones and tablets, any devices that are within reach of mere mortals, rather than just those blessed with a bulging bank balance, are very welcome.

GoTab, budget busting Android tablets.

In the heart of England, an unknown company by the name of Ergo Electronics has just unveiled a cut-price set of Android tablets that will hopefully set a new standard for affordable Android tablets. Birmingham's Gadget Show Live 2012 was the venue that Sam Goult, Ergo Electronics director of design, chose to showcase five new Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) entry-level tablets.
