Just lately we seem to be showcasing a whole host of Android phones that we've previously got excited over, especially as the juicy gossip emerged from CES and MWC earlier this year. It seems that our excitement regarding LG Optimus 3G Max was a smidgen premature, as further news concerning release dates have yet again left the UK out in the cold.

LG Optimus TrueHD LTE P936, Android phone will be released across Europe and Asia.

It seems just lately that the UK is getting sidelined in terms of new Android phone availability. One of the main reasons for this is not unfair favouritism or anything else unsavoury, but rather the lack of 4G and LTE. LG Optimus TrueHD LTE P936 is one such phone that may just pass us by unless we get a move on!

You may remember, back in January, Huawei showcased its future phones at CES, Las Vegas. One of those handsets was Huawei Ascend P1, a slim and ultra stylish mid-range Android phone. The good news is that we haven't got long to wait here in the UK, before it's available. However, there's still no news of its even slimmer twin Huawei Ascend P1 S.

Motorola Atrix 2, Android phone.

Motorola Atrix was supposed to be one of the most powerful Android phones available in 2011. Motorola went further than that and claimed that is was actually the world's most powerful Android smartphone and ran TV adverts saying exactly that. However, Trading Standards put a stop to Motorola's claims after complaints from furious Samsung owners. Nevertheless they soon got busy on Motorola Atrix 2, also known as Motorola Edison.

Acer Cloud storage.

Acer were proud to announce the upcoming arrival of their cloud based Android phone at MWC 2012, alongside its entry level sibling Acer Liquid Glow. Acer CloudMobile (formerly codenamed S500) will be the very first Android phone in the world to use Acer's very own cloud storage/processing service, which is similar to iCloud.

ZTE V96, dual-core Android tablet.

ZTE V96 is one of a duo of mid range Android tablets revealed by ZTE at Mobile World Congress 2012. Unlike its other siblings that run on beastly quad-core processors, ZTE V96 and its twin ZTE V9S, both run dual-core processors. Dual-core is still respectable however, and the fact that it also ships with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is also a deal clincher, so long as the price is right.

Sony Xperia Sola, NFC Android phone with Floating Touch.

Sony have saved the best until last! After lots of juicy unveiling's at Mobile World Congress, the only announcement we were anticipating from any major manufacturer that didn't happen in Barcelona was that of the elusive Samsung Galaxy S 3. What we didn't anticipate, however, was a further revelation from Sony, who, since parting ways with Ericsson, already have a neat set of Xperia phones lined up to keep their customers happy throughout 2012.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Android tablet.

Samsung Galaxy Note is being stretched from 5.3 inches to 10.1 inches. Okay, of course it's a different device than the original Galaxy Note, which is an oversized smartphone that can be used as an Android notepad complete with S-Pen (pressure sensitive capacitive stylus). This new 10.1 version may be a little large to use as your default notepad that you carry everywhere inside your pocket, but nevertheless, we're sure this tablet, revealed at Mobile World Congress 2012, promises a great Android experience.
