WhatGas Petrol Prices uses GPS location technology to give you an instant Google map view of your nearest petrol garages in the UK, which are shown as flag icons. By tapping on a flag you are presented with unleaded and diesel prices and the vendor's telephone number. This app also implements user contribution and you can report an error or update prices for the particular garage from this point in the app.

You can also add garages from the main menu that have not already been submitted. If you wish to find the cheapest petrol prices nearest to your location without the need to click on each flagged garage simply press; menu and then tap 'Best price'.

The only feature missing from WhatGas Petrol Prices is an important one; you can't see address details unless you upgrade to the paid version, WhatGas Petrol Prices Pro, and there is no trial version of the full featured version which would be useful. Other than this, WhatGas Petrol Prices is an important, money saving android app that could leave you quids in.
